These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the StephenCab mobile application, website, and related services (“Services”) operated by StephenCab Pvt. Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
To use StephenCab, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).
Possess a valid government-issued ID and an active mobile number.
Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
We reserve the right to verify user information and deny access if false or misleading details are provided.
StephenCab provides an online platform that connects passengers (“Users”) with independent drivers (“Drivers”) offering transportation services.
StephenCab acts solely as a facilitator and does not own, operate, or control the vehicles used by drivers.
All rides are arranged directly between the User and the Driver through the app.
By using our Services, you agree to:
Provide accurate and up-to-date personal information.
Use the Service only for lawful transportation purposes.
Treat drivers, other passengers, and StephenCab staff with respect.
Not engage in any behavior that may endanger the safety of others or damage property.
StephenCab reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found violating these terms.
All ride bookings are subject to driver availability.
Estimated fares shown at the time of booking may vary depending on traffic, route changes, or waiting time.
Cancellations made after driver confirmation may incur cancellation fees.
StephenCab is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, or unforeseen events.
Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and applicable taxes.
Users may pay via cash, card, wallet, or other available payment methods.
StephenCab reserves the right to revise fare structures at any time.
All payments must be made promptly; failure to do so may result in suspension of account access.
Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of StephenCab.
StephenCab conducts background and document verification for safety purposes but is not responsible for any acts, omissions, or misconduct by drivers.
Users are advised to verify the driver and vehicle details before boarding.
Cancellations before driver assignment: No charge.
Cancellations after driver confirmation: Cancellation fee may apply.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days.
StephenCab is committed to passenger safety.
We provide:
Verified driver onboarding
GPS tracking for active rides
24/7 customer support
However, users are responsible for their own safety during rides and must report any suspicious activity immediately.
Users can request account deletion through:

App Settings → Delete Account
Once verified, account deletion will be processed within 7–14 business days as per our Account Deletion Policy.
StephenCab collects and processes user data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
We respect your privacy and do not sell personal data to third parties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
StephenCab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
StephenCab’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the ride in question.
All content, trademarks, and software related to StephenCab are the property of StephenCab Pvt. Ltd. and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without written permission.
StephenCab may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Tamil Nadu, India.
